Isabelle was born near Paris but grew up abroad. She is one of those who grew up stuck in front of the TV watching wildlife documentaries. She has a first degree in Multimedia Production and her first dream-job was to become a wildlife documentary producer. Life brought her to the aeronautic industry and after working for almost ten years leading worldwide projects, she decided that her place was elsewhere. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Edinburgh in the UK with a MSc in Biodiversity, Wildlife and Ecosystem Health. She volunteered in desert ecology research in Australia, worked in marine protected areas projects in Southeast Asia and supported marine NGOs in sustainable development in the Adriatic Sea. Her first experience with Operation Wallacea was in 2018 managing the marine research site in Croatia. Passionate about wildlife conservation and sustainable development, she aims at gathering ambitious participants to take part in the amazing experience that Opwall offers, across the globe and alongside researchers.
