Glenn Shiach

Glenn was born in Aberdeenshire and has always been passionate about nature and the outdoors. While studying zoology at the University of Glasgow, he had the opportunity to take part in ecological studies across Scotland and was lucky enough to travel to the Kanuku Mountains Protected area in Guyana. His experience in Guyana proved to Glenn that he needed to pursue a career in Conservation. He completed one more year at Glasgow, studying a masters degree in Quantitative methods in Biodiversity, Conservation and Epidemiology and graduated in 2023.

Glenn joined our sales team as a fundraising and international recruiting coordinator in March 2024 and is loving his new role. This summer will be his first expedition with OpWall and he is very excited to see where he may go!
