After graduating from the University of Nottingham with a BSc in Biology, Fran joined Operation Wallacea as a research assistant in Mexico in 2022. After returning to the UK, she worked as an outdoor educator before coming back to Opwall as our incredible Autumn Intern. Fran was asked to stay on as a full-time member of the sales team!
Fran now works across both the sales and research teams, where she leads our academic outreach and manages our blogs and creative content. She also heads up our UK field courses at the Knepp Estate as the UK Country Manager. Having recently taken a year out to complete an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation at the University of Leeds, Fran is excited to use her research background and creativity to strengthen connections between science, education and storytelling at Opwall.
