The Transylvanian expedition is a mobile one, spending a week in eight different villages before moving on to the next. Life in the villages is slow, with people leading a very traditional agricultural way of life that has remained virtually unchanged in hundreds of years. Each one of the eight villages are unique in their own way, and as such there are varying levels of facilities and accommodation. Depending on when you join the project, you have the chance to be camping, staying in dormitories, guesthouses or a converted school! Regardless of which village we're in though, we're hosted by local Romanians that looks after us and feeds us - normally traditional Romanian food.
